About the Role:   
Join the Revenue FP&A team, as a key contributor for company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for delivering quality analysis & reporting and providing leadership with valuable insights to help drive critical decision-making.   
   
The Financial Analyst will develop invaluable skills and earn highly-coveted FP&A experience from a position of full visibility and understanding of Xperi’s top line which is a focal point for management and investors.   
   
With the support of FP&A team members, the Financial Analyst is encouraged to devise new solutions and contribute to Xperi’s growth. The position will report to the Revenue Manager, FP&A and will partner closely with other FP&A team members, Finance teams and the Sales organization.   
   
Responsibilities:   
  • Prepare revenue forecasting models for multiple business lines, analyze outcomes and provide recommendations that are easily digested by different audiences
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly revenue close reviews, and identify issues
  • Work closely with the Sales and Accounting teams to ensure immaterial variance between actual and forecast by quarter ends
  • Prepare financial analysis/reporting for SEC filings, CFO presentations, internal/external audits and other Finance/Sales teams
  • Maintain customer/product mappings from different systems to keep consolidated data clean and organized
  • Streamline and automate revenue processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Create and maintain visualizations/dashboards that help end-users achieve their objectives
  • Support ad-hoc projects for the FP&A team
   
Qualifications:   
  • 1+ years of experience with at least some experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance or Corporate Development
  • Bachelor’s in finance, accounting or equivalent business management degree
  • Heavily experienced in managing large data sets in Excel
  • Working knowledge of programming languages (SQL, SAAS, Python) is strongly preferred
  • Experience using Alteryx or other workflow automation tools is a plus
  • Experience with ERP systems (Salesforce, Workday, Oracle, NetSuite etc.) strongly preferred
  • Advanced modeling, analytical and data visualization skills (Power BI preferred)
  • Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and accounting principles
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
  • Big 4 experience, consulting experience nice to have
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition and ASC606 is a plus

The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is $68,947 - $75,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits, and can vary if outside of this location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
